CSAM (child sexual abuse material)
Any depiction - photograph, video, drawing, composite, computer-generated or AI-generated image - of a minor engaged in sexual conduct, or focusing on genitals or other parts of the body for sexual purposes.
Sexualisation of minors
Depicting, describing or promoting minors in a sexualised manner, including texts, role play and fantasies that refer to minors, as well as content that encourages or trivialises such depictions.
Grooming
Deliberately contacting a minor or building a relationship of trust with a minor in order to initiate sexual acts, an exchange of sexual content or a later meeting, whether online or offline.
Sextortion
Threatening to distribute or disclose intimate images - real or claimed - of a minor in order to obtain further images, sexual acts, money or other benefits.
Trafficking and solicitation
Offering, requesting, arranging or advertising minors for sexual purposes, including prostitution and any form of commercial sexual exploitation.

- creating, uploading, storing, forwarding, linking to, offering, requesting or distributing CSAM, irrespective of whether the depiction is real, drawn, animated or AI-generated;
- sexualising minors, whether in images, texts, profile details or chat messages;
- engaging in or requesting sexual role play or fantasies in which any of the characters involved is depicted or described as a minor;
- posing as a minor or operating a profile that depicts a minor;
- seeking contact with persons who are known or must be assumed to be minors for the purpose of sexual acts or the exchange of sexual content;
- threatening, coercing or blackmailing a minor, in particular by using real or claimed intimate images;
- offering, requesting or arranging minors for sexual purposes;
- sharing contact details, links, codes or references that enable or facilitate access to CSAE material elsewhere;
- using Snoggle to direct users to platforms or channels connected with CSAE.
- How to report
In the app
Any profile can be reported using the "Report profile" function. Individual items of content and chat conversations can also be reported directly.

Child safety point of contact
For reports relating to CSAE, the dedicated address [email protected] is also available. This address is open to users, authorities, child protection organisations and app store operators.
Useful details include the username or profile link of the reported person, the date and time, a short description of the incident and - where available and legally permissible - evidence such as screenshots. We expressly ask you not to send us suspected CSAM; a reference to where and when it was found is sufficient. Possession and distribution of such material are criminal offences.
Reports are treated confidentially. The reported person is not informed that a report has been made or by whom (clause 23 of the Terms of Service).
Immediate danger
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, please contact your local police without delay and notify us in addition.
- Handling of reports
Prioritisation
Reports relating to CSAE take precedence over all other reports and are passed to manual review without delay. Where there are indications of immediate danger, they are handled immediately.
Review
Reports are reviewed by the responsible staff. The review covers the reported content, its context, the history of the account concerned and any further accounts belonging to the same person.
Interim measures
The content complained of may be blocked and the account concerned suspended while the review is still ongoing.
Timeframes
Complaints are reviewed and resolved within seven working days under clause 23 of the Terms of Service. Reports relating to CSAE are handled considerably faster, and without delay where there are indications of immediate danger.
Ongoing controls
Independently of reports, profile details and uploaded images are reviewed before or after publication. Conspicuous content and behavioural patterns are additionally checked on a sample basis. We use both technical tools and manual review for detection.

Removing and blocking of the content concerned and prevention of any further distribution via the platform.
Permanent blocking of the account responsible and termination of the contractual relationship without notice (clause 12 of the Terms of Service).
Blocking of connected accounts where there are indications that they belong to the same person.
Preservation of evidence for the law enforcement authorities in accordance with clause 10 of this policy.
Reporting to the competent bodies in accordance with clause 11 of this policy.

Switzerland: the provisions of the Swiss Criminal Code protecting minors, in particular Art. 187 SCC (sexual acts with children), Art. 196 SCC (sexual acts with minors against payment), Art. 197 paras. 4 and 5 SCC (prohibited pornography involving children) and Art. 182 SCC (trafficking in human beings), as well as the Federal Act on Data Protection.
European Union: Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on a Single Market for Digital Services (Digital Services Act), in particular as regards notice and action mechanisms, the reporting of suspicions of serious criminal offences and the protection of minors, as well as the General Data Protection Regulation.

Snoggle is an entertainment platform for adults only. Protecting children and young people is our highest priority. We do not tolerate child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE) on our platform in any form.
This policy sets out publicly
It supplements our Terms of Service and our Guidelines and forms part of the contractual relationship between Joy Media AG and the users of Snoggle.

Any form of CSAE is prohibited on Snoggle. Where a violation occurs, we act without prior warning: the content is removed, the account is permanently blocked, and confirmed cases are reported to the competent authorities. No refund of unused credit is granted in such cases.
For the purposes of this policy, CSAE includes in particular:
A minor is any person who has not reached the age of majority under the law applicable at their place of residence. In case of doubt, the stricter age of protection applies.

The image requirements of our Terms of Service (clause 11) apply in addition: images showing minors may not be used as a profile picture, and in gallery images minors must be made unidentifiable and fully clothed.
The prohibition applies regardless of whether the person depicted actually exists, whether any actual contact took place, or whether the content is described as fiction, satire, art or role play.
Suspected cases can be reported at any time, by registered users and by third parties alike.
As soon as we obtain actual knowledge of CSAE content or conduct - through a report, our own controls or a third-party notification - we take the following measures without delay:
Chat messages on Snoggle are generally deleted after 90 days (clause 21 of the Terms of Service). An exception applies to suspected CSAE cases: the data concerned - messages, metadata, account information, timestamps, technical connection data - is excluded from routine deletion and preserved for as long as this is necessary to comply with legal obligations, to support official investigations or to pursue legal claims.
Preserved data is kept with restricted access and used exclusively for that purpose. Suspected CSAM is not retained in the regular systems but blocked and handled in accordance with the requirements of the competent authorities. In all other respects our Privacy Policy and the applicable data protection law apply.
Where indications of CSAM or of an offence against a minor are confirmed, we report the incident to the competent bodies. These include in particular:
We attach the available contextual information to the report to the extent legally permissible. We comply with official requests for information, production orders and court orders within the framework of applicable law and maintain a fixed point of contact for this purpose.
We further reserve the right under clause 11 of the Terms of Service to refer a matter to our legal counsel for assessment or, in cases of clear violation, directly to the authorities.
We comply with the child protection rules applicable in the markets in which Snoggle is offered. These include in particular:
Where individual legal systems conflict, we apply the stricter standard of protection.
We have designated a Point of Contact to receive notifications regarding CSAE content from Google Play, from other platform operators and from authorities and child protection organisations. This representative is integrated into our safety and review structure, is positioned to speak to our enforcement and review procedures, and is authorised to order the necessary measures.

All persons working for Joy Media AG in content moderation and support are informed of this policy when they take up their duties and receive the requirements for handling suspected cases. The notice is repeated whenever this policy is amended.
It is a binding requirement that indications of CSAE must not be investigated independently or discussed with the persons concerned, but must be escalated to the responsible internal unit without delay.

This policy forms part of the contractual relationship and supplements the Terms of Service and the Guidelines. In matters of child safety, this policy prevails in the event of any inconsistency. A breach of this policy constitutes good cause for termination of the contractual relationship without notice.
